Iconic Resourcing Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be supporting one of the UK & IE's largest hospitality & leisure companies as they seek to appoint a Senior Accounts Payable Assistant on a full-time, permanent and hybrid working basis from their Glasgow City Centre Head Offices.
Our client are market leaders within their sector, who place a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences with an established and highly talented workforce. With continued growth and success, and plans to excel that growth in the coming years, they are searching for an experienced and talented Accounts Payable professional to oversee their entire Accounts Payable process, from match, batch & coding invoices to ensuring manual payments are accurately and timeously submitted. Reporrting into the Senior Finance Manager, key areas of the role will surround:

Dealing efficiently and effectively with supplier AP queries, reconciling supplier statements

Ensure the accurate processing of non-PO invoices into the internal system

Ensure ledgers and vendor records are maintained and ensuring any discrepancies are investigated and verified

Ensure any one-off urgent payments are manually uploaded i.e. salary deductions, VAT payments & Irish payroll

Ensure payments are allocated to invoices
-
Upload all invoices onto internal system, ensuring verification & investigation of any discrepancies
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
-
Minimum 3 years' experience within an end-to-end AP role
-
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
-
Experience of working within a fast-paced environment across multiple business units
-
Excellent IT literacy skills
-
Good eye for detail and accuracy skills
-
Ability to manage own workload and work well to own initiative
-
Ability to process high volume data/invoices
Offering a competitive base salary of up to £35,000 DOE alongside excellent benefits and real career progression opportunities.
