Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to be partnering exclusively with Murgitroyd who are looking to recruit a Senior HR Co-Ordinator to join their growing HR team. A truly exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead a small team of HR Assistants, who provide HR clerical and administrative support to colleagues worldwide, based out of their Head Office in Glasgow.
The Role
A hands on role where you will not only be responsible for x 2 HR Assistants, but also get involved in the day to day work which will include general HR tasks such as managing the HR inbox, providing advice and guidance to colleagues on policies and procedures and processing all documentation relating to people activities such as managing advertising, arranging interviews, maintaining employee personnel records, new starter contract paperwork, on-boarding activities, staff induction process, training and review probation periods.
The Senior HR Co-Ordinator will also provide support, coaching and advice to colleagues and Managers on first line employee relations casework and assist with cyclical processes such as performance reviews, appraisals, salary reviews and monthly tasks to include MI and payroll reporting and administration. You will also assist with the collation of environmental data for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) purposes and reviewing HR matters like employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and the current and future company benefits.
As well as this, you will review HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain fit for purpose and align with Murgitroyd’s operating philosophies. Your team will also be involved in mapping out further systemisation HR processes and practices, reviewing available technology with a view to future adoption. Once implemented, you will also take the lead for data input, reporting and system maintenance activities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking applications from HR professionals who have a proven track record working at a similar level within a professional services environment. You will also have Line Management and/or Supervisory experience and be able to develop, lead and coach your team for their own personal growth.
You will be motivated, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, and ever-changing environment where you will be able to use your own initiative. You will also be CIPD qualified or have an equivalent HR qualification and have demonstratable knowledge of employment law (UK essential/other countries a benefit).
A great opportunity to join a well-established team, the successful candidate will be rewarded with competitive salary between £28,000 to £32,000 (dependant on experience) plus attractive benefits to include private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus public holidays, monthly above and beyond employee awards and colleague engagement initiatives and events. There is also a work from home option, currently 3 days a home, 2 days in the office, based in the outskirts of Glasgow. There may also be the occasional requirement to travel to other offices however this will be fairly infrequent.
