Senior Solicitor / Associate - Employment
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: £54,000 to £68,000 plus Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing practice within a leading independent Scottish firm. This role offers exposure to high quality contentious and non-contentious work, advising employers and senior executives across the public, private and third sectors. The team works with a diverse client base including organisations with UK wide and international operations.
The Role
You will join a well established and ambitious team working across offices as one integrated practice. The work is varied and includes:

Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal litigation

Strategic HR advisory and risk management support

Drafting and implementation of workplace policies and procedures

Disciplinary, grievance and complex workplace investigations

Corporate support and transactional employment advice

Equalities advice including compliance and resolution of contentious issues

Business immigration matters including recruitment planning and leave to remain
You will advise clients with UK wide and international operations, collaborating with colleagues across practice areas to deliver commercially focused, technically robust and practical solutions.
The Team
You will work closely with the head of the department, a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked employment specialist and accredited expert in the field. The team is known for delivering technically astute, pragmatic advice with a strong focus on practical outcomes and long term client relationships.
