Senior Solicitor / Associate - Private Client
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: £57,500 to £70,000 plus Bonus and Benefits
We are partnered with a leading Scottish independent firm to recruit for their Private Client team based in Edinburgh. The team is consistently ranked in the legal directories and is recognised for advising individuals, families and trustees on complex private client matters across Scotland, the UK and internationally.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Scotland’s largest and most experienced private client teams, working alongside specialists across family, tax, corporate, litigation and real estate to provide a fully integrated service to clients.
The Role
You will work closely with an experienced partner who specialises in advising high net work individuals and families, with a particular focus on succession planning, trusts and cross border estates. The role offers a varied caseload where you will be responsible for drafting wills and powers of attorney, trust and executry administration, estate and succession planning, and advising clients on asset protection and long term planning.
You will also have the opportunity to take the lead on client relationships, contribute to the supervision and development of junior members of staff, in addition to playing an active role in the overall growth of the team through business development initiatives.
The firm are open to solicitors with 2+ years PQE in private client work, ideally with experience with high net worth clients and / or cross border work. There is a competitive salary, bonus and generous benefits package on offer.
