As a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor, you will provide expert legal advice to commercial clients, negotiating contracts and guiding transactions involving the purchase, sale, lease, and financing of commercial properties. You’ll work both autonomously and collaboratively, managing your own caseload while supporting more junior colleagues and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and implement missives, leases, options, and development agreements
- Examine title and report to clients, preparing certificates of title for real estate finance transactions
- Build and maintain strong client and agent relationships
- Mentor and support junior team members in technical development
- Manage workload efficiently, professionally, and cost-effectively, including accurate time recording and prompt billing
- Contribute to the overall success of the Commercial Property division and business development initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- PQE 3+ years in commercial property
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members is desirable
- Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, and jargon-free
- Strong client focus, personable, and confident
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience
