Solicitor / Associate - Litigation (2+ PQE)
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary: £52,000 to £60,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

This is an opportunity to join a specialist Credit Hire team in Glasgow, working on a varied claimant litigation caseload with the autonomy to manage your own matters and the support of an experienced team.
The Role
The firm are seeking a Litigation Solicitor / Associate with experience in Credit Hire, RTA or civil litigation to join their expanding Glasgow office. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of matters from pre-litigation through to resolution, including Sheriff Court proceedings where required.
The successful candidate will:

Manage a caseload of Credit Hire and RTA litigation matters

Progress claims through the Scottish court process, including Simple Procedure and Ordinary Cause actions

Draft pleadings, witness statements and court documentation

Review evidence, assess prospects and provide clear advice to clients

Negotiate settlements and work with Counsel where required

Maintain accurate records and manage deadlines effectively
Experience handling Scottish civil litigation and Sheriff Court procedure would be highly desirable.
