Solicitor - Professional Indemnity (1-3 yrs PQE)

We have partnered with a specialist, international practice as they look to add a Solicitor to their growing Professional Indemnity team in Glasgow.
You'll join a modern, niche firm offering high-quality work alongside respected experts in the field. With a strong presence across the UK and internationally, the Glasgow office is in growth mode and has ambitious plans to continue expanding its offering.
The team has recently attracted lateral hires from major national firms and is well positioned within a competitive market.
The Role
You'll work alongside experienced solicitors on a varied caseload of Professional Indemnity matters, acting for a range of insurer clients.
The work will include:

Professional Indemnity claims against solicitors, accountants, IFAs and surveyors.

Construction-related PI claims involving architects, engineers and contractors.

Assisting with complex and high-value claims from policy response through to resolution.

Supporting on ADR, adjudication and settlement negotiations.

Preparing reports and providing clear, practical advice to insurer clients.

Working closely with senior members of the team on strategy, coverage and costs.

Developing your experience across a broad range of Professional Indemnity disputes.
What We're Looking For

Scottish or Dual qualified Solicitor with around 1-3 years PQE.

Experience in Professional Indemnity, Commercial Litigation, Construction Disputes or a closely related area.

Strong contentious experience and an interest in developing a career within Professional Indemnity.

Someone who is confident working independently but enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
