Are you a qualified solicitor with strong technical expertise and a passion for developing people? We're working with a forward-thinking legal services organisation to find a dynamic Solicitor Team Manager to lead and support their busy team in Glasgow.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and people-focused business where you’ll combine hands-on legal casework with team leadership, strategic input, and a strong focus on client outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and motivate a team of solicitors and legal professionals, providing day-to-day supervision, coaching, and technical support.
- Manage your own caseload of personal injury/RTA claims, ensuring cases are handled efficiently, commercially and with empathy.
- Drive performance across key KPIs, financial targets, and service delivery metrics.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and support career development across your team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, internal procedures, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the wider operations strategy in collaboration with senior management.
- Monitor and manage legal risks, including supervisor entries and limitation dates.
- Act as a key point of escalation for client complaints and complex legal matters.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified solicitor (Scot law experience) with strong experience in handling RTA or personal injury claims.
- Previous experience in a team leadership, supervisory or mentoring role.
- A deep understanding of relevant legislation, case law and claims processes.
- Confident working with case management systems and performance data/MI.
- A natural leader – proactive, commercially aware, and focused on continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with both clients and colleagues.
