Talent Acquisition Manager

£55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
Iconic Resourcing HR are working one of Scotland’s largest legal firms who are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Manager to join their wider people team on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
You will be responsible for developing recruitment strategy and delivering key recruitment activities through the full hiring cycle across both legal and business services in order to deliver against strategic aims. You will also be pivotal in building the businesses external profile as an employer of choice via social media and digital channels.
Day to day you will be involved in:
- End to end external process management – working with hiring managers to understand resource requirements, sharing recommended sourcing approach, keeping hiring managers appraised of progress, excellent candidate management and expectation management through to offer stage.
- Raising the external profile of the business as an employer of choice, collaborating with the marketing team to keep external and internal recruitment related content relevant and fresh.
- Continue to embed the resourcing team and direct sourcing model across the business.
- Embed and promote use of the ATS to help ensure a consistent recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers. Ensure ATS is kept up to date allowing for accurate recruitment related data which can be used to highlight successes, inform process changes, and identify learning/information needs of hiring managers.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies including the implementation of an agency PSL.
- Communicate and reinforce inclusive recruitment practices.
- Review interview and assessment processes for lateral hires across all levels.
- Provide support and expertise on early careers recruitment.
- Provide insight around market trends, salary inflation and skills availability.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have:
- Significant experience working in a resourcing/talent acquisition role with experience influencing and collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Experience of Direct Sourcing, Headhunting, Market Mapping, Advertising, Networking, Digital Channels, and tools.
- Experience and knowledge of recruitment best practice, process, policy, and awareness of appropriate legislation.
- Significant knowledge of interview and assessment best practice and tools. Psychometric testing qualification desirable.
- Experience with management of an ATS.
- Experience working within a legal or professional services setting would be preferred.
