Talent & Development Manager

Edinburgh (hybrid working)

Full Time, Permanent

Competitive salary + additional benefits to include private healthcare and annual bonus scheme

Iconic Resourcing HR are pleased to be working with a well-known Edinburgh based organisation who pride themselves on their reputation and who have recently received huge investment. With a focus on high growth and an aim to be an ‘employer of choice’, they are now looking to recruit for a Talent & Development Manager to join the wider OD & People team.

Working closely with the Head of OD, you will provide effective consultancy and advisory services on all learning and development matters to senior managers, working with stakeholders to ensure learning and development needs are identified and appropriate solutions developed. As well as this, you will partner with the HR Business Partners to better understand succession plans and develop meaningful programmes to support and collaborate with other learning professionals across the business to ensure a consistent approach to learning.

You will develop and deliver a talent and development strategy that is innovative and future focused, including but not limited to a programme of development from early careers all the way through to management and leadership and undertake regular analysis to ensure current development programmes remain current and purposeful in a changing landscape. You will also manage any third-party relationships and ensure continued value for money on all programmes of activities.

The Talent & Development Manager will also champion business change projects including proactively supporting the learning and adoption strategies, use data to generate insight on people & development plans and proactively contribute to the L&D steering committee to help align L&D priorities.

We are keen to speak with HR professionals who have sound technical knowledge relating to all aspects of talent & development, particularly those with experience of implementing and communicating new talent & development programmes, particularly within the senior leadership space. You will have strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to innovate as well as  influence, drive change through continuous improvement and who overall is passionate around the people agenda, L&D and employee engagement.
