Our client is looking to appoint an ambitious Tax Senior or Tax Supervisor to join a growing and highly respected tax team. This is a role that offers far more than technical delivery. The successful candidate will become a key member of the tax team, acting as an important link between senior leadership and junior team members, whilst developing into a trusted adviser to clients.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with the Tax Partner and wider team, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. The work spans owner-managed businesses, property investors, high-net-worth individuals and international clients, giving you broad and interesting exposure from day one.
This isn’t a narrow compliance-only role. You’ll be involved in advisory work, client meetings and planning discussions, gradually building confidence in more complex assignments and developing into a trusted adviser.
Alongside client work, you’ll support and guide junior team members, act as a link between senior leadership and the wider tax team, and start to get involved in business development activity as your role grows.
What You'll Need
- Experience working within a UK accountancy practice tax environment.
- ATT qualified, CTA qualified, or actively studying towards qualification.
- Corporate or mixed tax experience, with the desire to expand your knowledge into other tax areas
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Ambition to develop advisory skills and broaden your experience.
- Interest in business development and client-facing activities.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Desire to progress your career within a growing and supportive firm.
