Role Overview
Iconic Resourcing are recruiting a talented and motivated UX Designer to join our client's dynamic technology team. In this role, you will take ownership of designing user-friendly, visually engaging, and intuitive experiences for our digital platforms. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that meet both user and business needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the user experience of innovative web and mobile products in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a UX Designer, you’ll contribute to creating exceptional digital experiences, with responsibilities including:
- User Research: Conduct usability studies, interviews, and feedback analysis to understand user behavior and preferences.
- Design Development: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for responsive web and mobile platforms.
- Information Architecture: Develop navigation flows, sitemaps, and user journeys to create seamless interactions.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Accessibility Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility guidelines and provide inclusive experiences for all users.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize designs based on feedback and performance metrics.
Skills and Experience
We are seeking candidates with:
- At least 2 years of experience in UX design, ideally with exposure to website or e-commerce projects.
- Experience working within an e-commerce business.
- A portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to present design concepts and gather stakeholder feedback.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) or experience in the e-commerce or travel sector.
